Active, sensitive gay black man in Brooklyn looking to meet someone special and explore the possibilities...I'm an intelligent, progressive and directed man - can be serious sometimes and just plain goofy at others.

My life is good. I have a great career, and wonderful friends and family.

But, now that I'm over 40, I'm looking to spend a little less time and energy on my professional life and more on my personal life, but I still very much love my work and have always enjoyed my own company.

I think I'm more interested in meeting someone to hang out with on the weekends and travel with while things develop slowly over time, rather than some crazy, intense thing that fizzles out just as quickly as it starts. I'm definitely not looking for someone who's moving in or wants to change my life...:-)

But the idea of someone to join me in and challenge me to continue exploring New York and the world is a nice one.

I am often happiest on long walks. I especially enjoy places like the Brooklyn Bridge on foggy nights and travel to new and old places is always a joy.

I travel a lot for work and pleasure, so the idea of someone who might be found in most places in the US and Western Europe are fine for me if there's a connection.

A good sense of humor, irony and self and intelligence - are all more important than race.
